Blair Gauld is a Scottish photographer based in London whose practice centres on documentary and portraiture. Photography first became a constant in his life during a childhood and adolescence shaped by movement and travel.

It served as both a means of recording place and a way of grounding himself within unfamiliar environments. The camera became not only a tool for documentation, but a quiet mechanism for navigating anxiety — a way to slow down, observe, and connect.

Blair is heavily inspired by music, film, and past/present emotions.
